These terms are between you and Smart Apps Hub, the maker of Lamplight: Nursing Notes. By using the app you agree to them. We keep them short and in plain words.

Lamplight Pro

Lamplight Pro is the subscription that makes notes, summaries, flashcards and NCLEX-style questions from your lectures. Without Pro, the app records your lecture and shows the transcript, but it does not make notes.

• Pro starts with a 7-day free trial.
• After the trial, you pay for the plan you chose: Yearly $79.99, Semester (6 months) $49.99 or Monthly $12.99. These are US prices. In other countries you see the price in your local currency.
• You pay through your Apple ID.
• The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. This includes the free trial.
• To manage or cancel, go to iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Fair use

Pro is made for one student's own lectures. To keep it fair for everyone, Lamplight makes notes from:

• up to 40 hours of lecture recordings in any 30 days in a row;
• up to 10 hours in total during the free trial.

If you go over, Lamplight pauses making notes until the date the app shows you. Your recordings stay on your iPhone.

Recording lectures

You are responsible for how you record. Follow your school's rules and the rules of your state or country. Ask your instructor before you record a lecture. Lamplight records lectures in the room. It does not record phone calls.

Using Lamplight well

• Use Lamplight for your own studies.
• Only record or import material you are allowed to use.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the app or its server, including the fair-use limits.

A study aid, not medical advice

Lamplight's notes, cards and questions are made by a computer from your lecture. They can contain mistakes. They are not medical advice. Check them with your instructor and your course materials.

Lamplight is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, NCSBN or NCLEX. "NCLEX-style" describes the format of the questions only.

Age

Lamplight is not for children under 13.

If we change these terms, we update this page and the date at the top.
